Intranet

To further enhance collaborative efforts, create useful resources, and foster the discussion of research findings, the Enhancing Care Initiative has developed an Intranet referred to as Knowledge Management Applied to International Research and Education (KAIRE). KAIRE uses cutting-edge standards in information technology without requiring users to employ the latest technological infrastructure, to perform frequent maintenance, or to participate in extensive training sessions. This system features many capabilities including email, group discussions, shared document editing, a documents database, chat features, and a group calendar, which are all located in KAIRE’s secure and intuitive interface. KAIRE provides ECI team members and affiliates with a virtual research community for archiving and sharing the latest knowledge about HIV and AIDS care.
